Skip bin hire in the Perth Hills
Thank you for choosing Gidgie Skips and Recycling. To ensure efficient and safe service, the following terms and conditions apply. Placing an order with Gidgie Skips and Recycling constitutes and agreement to enter into a contract with you the hirer, and in the absence of a written agreement and for practical purposes it is agreed that verbal confirmation shall also be binding.
1) The Hirer acknowledges that the Hired Skip Bins are to be used solely for the purpose of depositing the types of waste accepted by Gidgie Skips and Recycling.
The types of waste which is NOT ACCEPTED includes but is not limited to:
- Asbestos, including asbestos related products such as vinyl flooring containing asbestos.
- Hardie Flex sheeting containing asbestos including fencing.
- Liquid waste.
- Chemicals.
- Solvents.
- Tyres, oil, paint and batteries.
- Hazardous waste of any kind.
Placement of non-compliant waste in the bin is illegal and penalties do apply by law. The Hirer is responsible for ensuring no contamination of land; groundwater or air takes place and is liable for all clean up, decontamination costs and charges associated with the removal of prohibited items that have entered any site knowingly or unknowingly to comply with the Health Act and Contaminated Sites Act.
2) The Hirer is responsible for the skip bin once the bin is delivered. Any Damage or Defacing of the bin will be at the hirer’s expense.
3) Gidgie Skips and Recycling will not accept liability for damage to property, foundations, paving, flora etc. caused when working within the Hirers instructions.
4) In the event of non-payment, bankruptcy or insolvency all waste is deemed to belong to the Hirer until payment is made and Gidgie Skips and Recycling reserves the right to unload their bins at the Hirer’s site prior to removal and remove their bins from the Hirer’s site.
5) Permits for placement of skip bins on council property are to be sourced by the hirer before the skip bin delivery date..
6) Skip bins should not be filled above the rim or your bin fill line marking. If a skip bin is overfilled, we retain the right to remove items as necessary to make it legal to transport.
7) Gidgie Skips and Recycling will endeavour to place the skip bin in your preferred location however placement is at the driver’s discretion due to safety and public liability implications.
8) The Hirer is entitled to a full refund if the skip bin is not delivered on the agreed delivery date and the Hirer decides not to proceed with the order on another date.
